ECSS supports the delivery of VCRs, Television Monitors and Data Projectors to classrooms not yet equipped with electronic media equipment, and continue the maintenance and upkeep of overhead projectors until these rooms transition to fully equipped electronic classrooms.

1. What is Equipment Delivery?
Equipment Delivery is the use of multimedia equipment on wheels delivered to generally schedule non-electronic classrooms.

3. Whom do I contact to request equipment delivery?
To request delivery of equipment, you contact the ucit Electronic Classroom Support Services (ECSS) located at 300C Zimmer Hall, 556-1977 between the hours of 7:30am 10:00pm Monday thru Friday, and 8:00am 4:00pm Saturday.
Notice: The deadline for next day delivery is 2:00pm the prior day.

The deadline to request equipment delivery for next day delivery is 2:00pm or 2:00pm Friday for a Monday delivery.

5. What type of equipment may I request?
We currently deliver 27 or 20 inch VCR/Monitor, DataProjector/DocumentCamera/VCR.

6. How do I request equipment not delivered by ECSS?
Call Multi-Media Services at 556-1980, Multi-Media does not deliver, you will have to pick up needed items. Also Multi-Media Services provides tech support for their equipment.

7. How do I request delivery of equipment?
To request equipment delivery call ECSS at 556-1977 or stop by 300C Zimmer Hall.
Notice: The deadline for next day delivery is 2:00pm the prior day.

8. Can I ask for a confirmation of the equipment request?
ECSS can provide you with a reservation number for the equipment request made. You can ask for a confirmation while making the request and ECSS will call you back or you can call back later.

9. When can I expect delivery of equipment?
We deliver equipment 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the class. For example: For a 9:00am class we deliver equipment at 8:50am and for a 3:30pm class we deliver equipment at 3:20pm.

10. Do I have to be present and meet the delivery person to accept equipment?
You have to be present at the time of requested delivery to accept the equipment. Equipment will not be delivered if the requestor is not present to accept the delivery. We cannot deliver to empty classrooms.

11. What happens with the equipment at the end of class?
ECSS staff will meet you at the end of class and pick up the equipment. You must be present at the time of pickup of the equipment.

12.Can I request multiple days for equipment delivery?
You can request equipment for a class for more than one occasion.For example: A VCR/MONITOR for every Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the Spring Quarter of 2002 including the Exam Week.

13.Can I request equipment overnight to be picked-up the next day?
ECSS makes deliveries only if the pick up is on the same day.

14. What should I do if the equipment delivered is not working or functioning properly?
In such situations please call ECSS at 556 -1977 and immediate assistance will be provided. This may include troubleshooting of the problem immediately or replacement of the equipment, if necessary.

15. What should I do if I need assistance with setting up or operating the delivered equipment?
In such a situation, please inform ECSS about the assistance needed while making the equipment request. We will schedule an orientation right before the start of the class or at any other suitable time for the requestor.

16. Can I request an equipment for delivery to an off campus location or special delivery?
